JUNIORS

Glanford Junior Curling Program

The program is run as a separate entity, on a no cost basis to the curling club. The Sunday participants are considered associate members of the curling club, with the separation basically for corporate and accounting purposes. The membership fee is $60 for the year per individual. We curl most Sundays as outlined on the junior schedule. There are three groups:

  • Juniors and Intermediates curl from 10:30 to 12:30
  • Little Rocks curl from 12:30 to 2:00
  • Young Adult (16 to 25) Social League starting at 2:00 on selected Sundays

We have three sets of full size little rocks for use by the third group. If you have any family, friends or neighbours who might be interested, please encourage them to come out and give it a try.

The junior program supplies all the equipment needed, including sliders, grippers and sliding tape, as well as little rock brooms.

We have a number of Club Coach instructors that run the on-ice activities each Sunday. Any parent interested in taking a Curl Canada Club Coach Instructors Clinic, the program will pay for their attendance.
